.DISCUSSION...

Isolated showers and thunderstorms may begin to develop towards
the end of the event window early on Saturday afternoon, with a
majority of the thunderstorm activity expected during the mid to
late afternoon hours. Hot and humid conditions are otherwise
forecast on Saturday, with temperatures quickly rising through
the 80s after sunrise and approaching 90 degrees by the late
morning hours. Heat index values will rise through the 90s during
the mid-morning hours and will approach 100 degrees by the late
morning hours at the event site. West-southwesterly winds
sustained around 10 mph are expected throughout the event time
frame, with frequent gusts around 15 mph after sunrise providing
some relief to attendees and participants.
