.DISCUSSION...Scattered to numerous showers and isolated thunderstorms
are expected to develop around Noon today and continue through the
afternoon hours. Rainfall amounts are expected in the 0.25 to 0.75 inch
range with locally higher amounts 1 to 1.50 inches if heavier storm activity
pushes in off the Atlantic. Northeast winds will increase to 15 to 20
mph this afternoon with gusts to 30 mph, but are expected to remain in
the 10 to 15 mph range this morning.
