A frontal system will begin to approach the area Saturday with shower chances increasing by 2 PM. A line of weakening thunderstorms will approach Jekyll Island around 4 PM and bring an attendant risk of lightning and gusty outflow winds. The line of thunderstorms will slow and stall near Jekyll, potentially setting up several rounds of rain and isolated thunderstorms from 6 PM to 11 PM. Before the rain, winds will be breezy and offshore (from the southwest) through the afternoon with temperatures in the upper 70s. .SATURDAY...
