Scattered mainly late afternoon and early evening showers and thunderstorms will be possible at the wildfire site today. Very hot and humid weather will otherwise continue today, with highs in the mid 90s and peak heat index values of 110-115 degrees during the early and mid afternoon hours. Otherwise, light southwesterly surface and transport winds this morning will shift to southeasterly during the early afternoon hours following the passage of the sea breeze boundary. Marginally low daytime dispersion values are expected today. Surface and transport winds will then shift to southerly before sunset this evening and then to southwesterly overnight, with diminishing speeds expected. Southwesterly surface and transport winds will be slightly stronger on Wednesday morning, with winds again shifting to southeasterly by the mid-afternoon hours. Only widely scattered afternoon and evening showers and thunderstorms are forecast near the wildfire site on Wednesday and Thursday. .TODAY...
