...FLOOD ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 830 PM EST THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE...A portion of southeast Georgia, including the following
  counties, Brantley, Pierce and Ware.

* WHEN...Until 830 PM EST.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
  Water over roadways. Overflowing poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 723 PM EST, public and trained weather spotters report
    flooding in the Waycross Area. Minor flooding is ongoing. Up
    to 5 inches of rain have fallen.
  - The Waycross Area is the most affected area. Flooding impacts
    will continue, but no additional rainfall is expected.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Waycross and Boggy Bay.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
