Synopsis for Altamaha Sound GA to Flagler Beach FL out to 60 nm-
328 AM EST Wed Feb 5 2025

.SYNOPSIS...

Dense sea fog is expected early this morning for the offshore
waters adjacent to northeast Florida. Otherwise, a weak cold
front pushing southward down the Carolina coast will stall over
the Georgia waters by this evening and will then lift northward as
a warm front on Thursday. Dense sea fog will likely develop over
the near shore waters south of St. Augustine late this afternoon
and early this evening and will then spread northward across the
rest of our local waters overnight tonight and Thursday morning.
Atlantic high pressure will then build westward towards the
Florida peninsula on Thursday and Friday. South-southwesterly
winds will prevail from Friday through the weekend as Atlantic
high pressure continues to extend its axis westward across the
Florida peninsula. A cold front will then approach from the
northwest on Monday, with isolated to widely scattered showers
possible early next week.
