...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 145 AM CDT
FOR CENTRAL NOXUBEE AND SOUTHEASTERN LOWNDES COUNTIES...

At 1251 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Macon, moving
northeast at 35 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

This severe storm will be near...
  Deerbrook, Brooksville, and Macon around 1255 AM CDT.
  Bigbee Valley around 110 AM CDT.
  Columbus around 125 AM CDT.
  Steens around 150 AM CDT.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 500 AM CDT for northeastern
and east central Mississippi.

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
