...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SIMPSON COUNTY THROUGH 715 PM
CDT...

At 647 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
New Hebron, or 12 miles northwest of Prentiss, moving north at 30
mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

This strong thunderstorm will be near...
  Pinola and Shivers around 655 PM CDT.
  Union around 700 PM CDT.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 900 PM CDT for
central, south central and southeastern Mississippi.
