...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT MARION...EASTERN LAWRENCE...
WESTERN COVINGTON...NORTHWESTERN LAMAR AND JEFFERSON DAVIS COUNTIES
THROUGH 630 AM CDT...

At 536 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Progress to 6 miles northeast of
Bassfield. Movement was south at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Strong thunderstorms will be near...
  Bassfield, Melba, Progress, Arm, Oak Vale, and Carson around 540
  AM CDT.
  Tilton and Society Hill around 545 AM CDT.
  Goss and Bunker Hill around 550 AM CDT.
  Improve, Holly Springs, and Morgantown around 555 AM CDT.
  Columbia around 600 AM CDT.
  Kokomo around 610 AM CDT.
  Pickwick around 620 AM CDT.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

High winds can bring down trees and large limbs resulting in serious
injury or property damage. Exercise extreme caution when outdoors
during such strong winds...and be especially aware of older trees.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
