Fire Weather Planning Forecast For Extreme Southeast Arkansas,
Northeast Louisiana, and Central Mississippi
National Weather Service Jackson MS
433 AM CDT Wed Aug 13 2025

.DISCUSSION...Patchy fog has developed this morning and will be
possible again Thursday morning but dense fog development is not
anticipated. Upper level troughing over the region will lead to a
greater coverage of mainly afternoon and early evening rain
chances but high pressure surface and aloft will build back over
the region this weekend into early next week. This will lead to
increasing heat and humidity.
