Fire Weather Planning Forecast For Extreme Southeast Arkansas,
Northeast Louisiana, and Central Mississippi
National Weather Service Jackson MS
308 PM CDT Fri Aug 1 2025

.DISCUSSION...Humidity will diminish some this weekend, but not
enough to raise concern for fire danger. Patchy morning fog cannot
be ruled out early Saturday morning, especially in low lying areas
around sunrise. Afternoon showers and storms will be common Saturday
mainly over southeast portions of the area.
