Fire Weather Planning Forecast For Extreme Southeast Arkansas,
Northeast Louisiana, and Central Mississippi
National Weather Service Jackson MS
228 PM CDT Sat Apr 19 2025

.DISCUSSION...Some patchy ground fog is again possible across mainly
southern districts early Sunday morning. Quiet weather will
continue across the area through at least mid-afternoon Sunday.
Rain chances will increase from the west Sunday evening and night,
as a low pressure system moves across the region into Monday.
This system could bring an isolated severe storm to mainly far
northwest portions of the Delta region Sunday evening and night.
Damaging wind gusts will be possible with the most intense storms.
A stalling cold front across the area through mid-week, will keep
some chances for isolated to scattered showers and storms in the
forecast.
