Fire Weather Planning Forecast For Extreme Southeast Arkansas,
Northeast Louisiana, and Central Mississippi
National Weather Service Jackson MS
259 PM CDT Fri Jun 6 2025

.DISCUSSION...
Overall, low FireWx danger will exist for the period. Fog is not
expected to be a significant concern. High pressure will continue
to have the greatest influence over the forecast area
today/tonight. Thunderstorm chances will increase over the
weekend as a frontal boundary moves into the region and interacts
with moist and unstable air.
