Fire Weather Planning Forecast For Extreme Southeast Arkansas,
Northeast Louisiana, and Central Mississippi
National Weather Service Jackson MS
233 PM CDT Wed Jun 4 2025

.DISCUSSION...fog may be a concern especially over southern and
eastern portions of the area Thursday morning. High pressure will
continue to have greatest influence over the forecast area and this
will keep us mostly dry through the end of the week. Increased
thunderstorm chances are expected going into the weekend as a
frontal boundary moves into the region and interacts with moist
and unstable air.
