Fire Weather Planning Forecast For Extreme Southeast Arkansas,
Northeast Louisiana, and Central Mississippi
National Weather Service Jackson MS
237 PM CDT Sat Aug 2 2025

.DISCUSSION...A break from the high levels of heat and humidity
will exist across districts through at least Monday, as slightly
drier air filters into the region. Rain chances will also lessen
across the area, with better chances existing along and south of
Interstate 20 today, and across east and southeast districts
Sunday and Monday. Over the next few mornings, widespread dense
fog will not exist, but some patchy ground fog will be possible
around day break.
