Fire Weather Planning Forecast For Extreme Southeast Arkansas,
Northeast Louisiana, and Central Mississippi
National Weather Service Jackson MS
202 PM CDT Fri Oct 10 2025

.DISCUSSION...Dry weather will prevail over the next several days
in the wake of a weak cold front. Afternoon minimum relative humidity
values will generally hover between 35-45% into Sunday. Transport winds
will have a northeasterly component during this time. However, with the
continued lack of rain and no appreciable rain chances in the near
future, fire danger will need to be monitored closely heading
into next week. No significant concern for fog exists Saturday
morning.
