Fire Weather Planning Forecast For Extreme Southeast Arkansas,
Northeast Louisiana, and Central Mississippi
National Weather Service Jackson MS
345 PM CDT Sat Jul 19 2025

.DISCUSSION...High pressure surface and aloft will strengthen
back over the region later this weekend and the early part of
next week. This will lead to lower rain chances and higher
temperatures. An anomalously moist airmass will remain in place
resulting in increasing heat stress over the whole area. Dense
fog is not expected to be a significant concern.
