Fire Weather Planning Forecast For Extreme Southeast Arkansas,
Northeast Louisiana, and Central Mississippi
National Weather Service Jackson MS
302 PM CDT Fri Oct 4 2024

.DISCUSSION...Humidity will gradually increase across especially
southern and eastern parts of the forecast area today and tonight,
with some rain showers or even isolated thunderstorms this
evening mainly in the Pine Belt region. Dry conditions are
expected to persist for the next week as no measurable
precipitation if forecast after today. The increase in humidity
will lead to possible patchy fog late tonight along and south of
the highway 84 corridor.
