Fire Weather Planning Forecast For Extreme Southeast Arkansas,
Northeast Louisiana, and Central Mississippi
National Weather Service Jackson MS
303 PM CDT Thu Apr 3 2025

.DISCUSSION...Warm, humid, and windy conditions will continue
with a threat for thunderstorms across southeast Arkansas, north
Louisiana, and northwest Mississippi districts through Friday.
Where these storms develop, they could become severe. On Saturday
night, thunderstorms will be possible across the entire area.
While southerly winds will be gusty at times over the next few
days, humidity will remain high. While patchy fog cannot be ruled
out due to humid conditions, no significant fog development is
anticipated at this time.
