Fire Weather Planning Forecast For Extreme Southeast Arkansas,
Northeast Louisiana, and Central Mississippi
National Weather Service Jackson MS
318 PM CDT Sat Jun 7 2025

.DISCUSSION...Fire weather danger will not be a concern for the weekend.
Thunderstorm chances will increase over the area today and Sunday as a
frontal boundary moves into the region and interacts with moist and
unstable air. Storm chances will continue heading into the new
work week as the frontal boundary stalls over the southeast
region. Fog is not anticipated at this time.
