Fire Weather Planning Forecast For Extreme Southeast Arkansas,
Northeast Louisiana, and Central Mississippi
National Weather Service Jackson MS
406 AM CDT Sun Oct 5 2025

.DISCUSSION...Chances for isolated to scattered, mainly afternoon,
showers and storms will be on the increase some over the next
couple of days. However, this rainfall will not be significant
enough to cut into the recent rainfall deficit across the area.
Otherwise, seasonably warm conditions will continue. Fog is not
expected to be a significant concern this morning, nor Monday
morning.
