Fire Weather Planning Forecast For Extreme Southeast Arkansas,
Northeast Louisiana, and Central Mississippi
National Weather Service Jackson MS
322 AM CDT Fri Apr 18 2025

.DISCUSSION...Patchy light fog development is possible in the
southeast this morning and Saturday morning but elsewhere no
significant fog development is anticipated. Twentyfoot wind will
be gusty again today and both Saturday and Sunday. Ridging surface
and aloft will remain dominant over our area through Saturday.
Rain chance will increase from the west Sunday as a low pressure
system moves across the region Sunday night into Monday. This
system may bring a few severe storms to the west Sunday night into
Monday along with areawide wetting rain.
