Fire Weather Planning Forecast For Extreme Southeast Arkansas,
Northeast Louisiana, and Central Mississippi
National Weather Service Jackson MS
239 PM CDT Sat Oct 4 2025

.DISCUSSION...Rain chances will increase some over the next
couple of days, but significant rainfall that would cut into
the recent rainfall deficit is not expected. Otherwise
seaonsably warm conditions will continue. Fog is not expected
to be a significant concern given the increase in higher
level cloud cover.
