.DISCUSSION...
Fire danger is not expected through the period with moist soils
and additional rainfall. Wetting rains are likely Monday into
Tuesday and again Wednesday night into Thursday. Some stronger
storms are possible Wednesday night. Winds will be from the south
tonight and tomorrow and will be gusty, sustained around 15,
gusting to 25, especially in the Delta. Winds will shift from the
north Tuesday in the wake of a cold front. Southerly winds become
reestablished Wednesday ahead of an expected cold front. Some calm
conditions from high pressure to the east will linger over the
southeast tonight and combined with moist conditions, some patchy
fog could develop, generally south and east of the Natchez
