...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in
Louisiana...Mississippi...

  Mississippi River At Natchez affecting Wilkinson, Concordia and
  Adams Counties.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

The next statement will be issued Friday morning at 845 AM CDT.

...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL TOMORROW AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring.

* WHERE...Mississippi River at Natchez.

* WHEN...Until tomorrow afternoon.

* IMPACTS...At 48 feet, Carthage Point Road remains impassable.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 8:00 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 48.1 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
    late this evening and continue falling.
  - Flood stage is 48.0 feet.
