PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If you encounter a flooded roadway, turn around and find an
alternative route.

...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM THIS EVENING TO SUNDAY EVENING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Pearl River near Columbia.

* WHEN...From this evening to Sunday evening.

* IMPACTS...At 17.0 feet, Low areas near the river begin to flood.
  Water covers Old Highway 35 on the west side of the river.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 8:45 PM CDT Tuesday the stage was 4.7 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 16.5
    feet Saturday morning.
  - Action stage is 16.0 feet.
  - Flood stage is 17.0 feet.
