.DISCUSSION...
Issued at 244 AM CDT Wed Oct 8 2025

Today and Tonight...

Early morning CAM guidance is still showing low probabilities (20-
30%) of dense fog development primarily over east and southeast
portions of the area this morning. Because of this, a "Limited"
threat for dense fog will continue to be advertised. Any fog should
lift and dissipate by mid-morning.

Near term guidance continues to show the weak cold front shifting
southward across our CWA. A few scattered showers and storms cannot
be ruled out mainly for areas south of Hwy 84 later this afternoon.
Elsewhere, weather conditions will remain relatively quiet.
Afternoon highs will peak into the low/mid 80s areawide.

Thursday through Wednesday...

The weak cold front will continue to shift southward and eventually
out of our CWA heading into Thursday. With the cold front out of our
area, there will be a noticeable decrease in both moisture and
humidity. This will limit rain chances and allow for quiet and drier
conditions across the southeast CONUS through the rest of this week
and into early next week. While daytime temperatures will remain
close to normal, nighttime temperatures will cool a little more in
the drier air than they have recently. /CR/
