  Lake Michigan Michigan City IN to St. Joseph MI 5 NM offshore to
  mid-line of lake....
  Michigan City IN to New Buffalo MI...
  New Buffalo MI to St Joseph MI...

* Until 130 AM EDT.

* At 1136 PM EDT, a cluster of strong thunderstorms was located near
  Harrison-Dever Crib, moving northeast at 25 knots. These storms
  will affect the southeastern portions of Lake Michigan over the
  next couple of hours.

  HAZARD...Wind gusts to nearly 50 knots and small hail.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and
           suddenly higher waves.

* The strong thunderstorm will remain over mainly open waters.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Boaters should seek safe harbor immediately until this storm passes.
Wind gusts to nearly 50 knots, small hail, high waves, dangerous
lightning, and heavy rain are possible with this storm.

Frequent lightning is occurring with this storm. If caught on the
open water stay below deck if possible, keep away from ungrounded
metal objects.
