At 658 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated a strong thunderstorm, capable
of producing winds to around 30 knots and small hail. This
thunderstorm was located over Michigan City, moving northeast at 50
knots.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM EDT for northwestern
Indiana.

Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher
waves, lightning strikes, and waterspouts. Boaters should seek safe
harbor immediately until this storm passes.
