A prolonged stretch of dry and warm weather will last for the next 7 to 10 days. Warm weather and dry conditions will exacerbate ongoing drought this week and elevate concerns for fire danger as fields and grasses continue to dry out. Minimum afternoon RH values will be as low as 25 to 35 percent each day this week. A backdoor cold front will bring in much drier air (dewpoints in the 40s) during the middle of the week. There is also some potential for easterly winds to gust as high as 20 mph during the afternoon and evening on Wednesday.
