Fire Weather Planning Forecast for the Southern Great Lakes
National Weather Service Northern Indiana
358 AM EDT Sun Jun 29 2025

.DISCUSSION...

High pressure remains in place today resulting in mainly dry
conditions and light wind. There is only a 20% chance of an isolated
thunderstorm this afternoon. Storms will become more widespread
Monday afternoon and evening. A dry stretch of weather is probable
after Monday with high pressure moving overhead. Depending on how
much rain falls Monday, there could be a small uptick in fire weather
concerns as dry weather sets in.
