...The National Weather Service in Northern Indiana has issued a
Flood Warning for the following rivers in Ohio...

  Blanchard River at Ottawa affecting Putnam County.

  Maumee River near Defiance affecting Defiance and Henry Counties.

For the Blanchard River...including Ottawa...Minor flooding is
forecast.
For the Maumee River...including Fort Wayne, Defiance, Napoleon...
Moderate flooding is forecast.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

...FLOOD WARNING IN EFFECT FROM EARLY THIS MORNING UNTIL FURTHER
NOTICE...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Maumee River near Defiance.

* WHEN...From early this morning until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 14.0 feet, Corner of East First and Auglaize Streets
  and parts of Second and Hopkins Streets flood.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 3:15 AM EDT Thursday the stage was 10.9 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 3:15 AM EDT Thursday was 10.9 feet.
  - Forecast...The river will rise to 13.3 feet just after
    midnight tonight. It will then fall early Saturday morning.
    It will rise to 14.1 feet Sunday morning. It will then fall
    again but remain above flood stage.
  - Flood stage is 10.0 feet.

NOTICE...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Blanchard River at Ottawa.

* WHEN...From Friday afternoon until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 25.0 feet, Flooding begins along south Walnut and
  west Second Streets on the south side of Ottawa.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 3:30 AM EDT Thursday the stage was 16.9 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    early tomorrow afternoon and continue rising to a crest of
    25.7 feet Sunday evening.
  - Flood stage is 23.0 feet.
