.DISCUSSION...
Issued at 218 PM EST Thu Nov 13 2025

Very pleasant Fall weather today with highs right around
average for this time of year. Ridging will continue to build in
across the area over the next couple of days, resulting in
warming temperatures. If the snow hasn`t melted in your area
yet, trust me it will. Highs will warm up into the mid to upper
60s by Saturday. An area of low pressure will drop out of
Ontario during the day Sat, brushing our area with a chance
(20-40%) for rain showers, especially north of US-30. Tightening
pressure gradient and afternoon mixing out ahead of the front
will increase southwest winds to 15-20mph with gusts 25-30mph.

Temperatures drop noticeably on Sunday as northwesterly cold
air advection occurs across the area, with highs topping out in
the mid/upper 40s. These temps will hold mostly steady through
the work week. Tuesday, a southern stream shortwave moving out
of the Four Corners region will traverse across the Central US.
This will introduce rain chances back into the area, with
perhaps a rain/snow mix across the northern counties. Warm air
advection out ahead of a deepening Panhandle Hook low will bring
more widespread (and beneficial) rainfall to the area by
Thursday-Friday with probabilistic guidance placing a 25-45%
chance of exceeding 1 inch of precipitation within a 48 hour
period ending Saturday morning. TBD on the details, but plan on
a period of unsettled weather before we head into the weekend. .
