Rating: EF1 Estimated Peak Wind: 110 mph Path Length /statute/: 4.45 miles Path Width /maximum/: 100 yards Fatalities: 0 Injuries: 0 Start Date: 04/02/2025 Start Time: 08:14 PM EDT Start Location: 3 ESE Vermilion / Edgar County / IL Start Lat/Lon: 39.56 / -87.5322 End Date: 04/02/2025 End Time: 08:22 PM EDT End Location: 3 S Universal / Vigo County / IN End Lat/Lon: 39.5806 / -87.4555 Survey Summary: Narrow tornado began right at IL/IN state line and tracked ENE toward West New Goshen producing EF-0 damage. Tornado made a right turn and went right through New Goshen producing high end EF-1 damage to a few structures and homes. Large garage heavily damaged with full walls picked up and thrown over other structures. Many structures within New Goshen had near total roof loss.
