This hazardous weather outlook is for central Indiana.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Heat indices are expected to peak around 100-106F this afternoon
while low temperatures remain near the mid-70s tonight.

Isolated to scattered thunderstorms are possible this afternoon
through the early evening hours with the potential for strong wind
gusts and locally heavy rain. Lightning is also a threat with any
storm.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

Heat indices are expected to peak in the 100s while low temperatures
remain around the mid-70s through at least Friday. The Heat Advisory
remains in effect through Friday evening as little heat relief at
night will be impactful to sensitive populations.

Daily chances for thunderstorms continue for part or all of the
region through early next week. Storms should mainly be focused
during the afternoon to early evening hours.
