This hazardous weather outlook is for central Indiana.

.DAY ONE...Through Tonight.

Isolated thunderstorms remain possible through late afternoon,
especially near and just south of the Indianapolis metro area.
A thunderstorm complex will develop over northern Illinois through
late day, gradually expanding southeast towards the region by mid to
late evening and possibly impacting the northwest half of central
Indiana overnight. Severe storms are not expected through daybreak
Tuesday, but lightning, heavy rainfall and gusty winds are threats
with any storm.

Hot and humid conditions will continue through early evening, mainly
in areas that do not see any storms this afternoon.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.

Chances for thunderstorms continue on Tuesday, and especially across
the southeast half of central Indiana during the afternoon and early
evening. A few storms will produce damaging winds in addition to
heavy rainfall and cloud to ground lightning. A lingering isolated
storm is possible over southern and eastern Indiana on Wednesday but
most locations will remain dry.

Outside of storms, afternoon heat indices peaking between 100 and
105 degrees are possible Tuesday, mainly across western and southern
portions of the region.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation may be needed Tuesday.
