Isolated thunderstorms remain possible through late afternoon, especially near and just south of the Indianapolis metro area. A thunderstorm complex will develop over northern Illinois through late day, gradually expanding southeast towards the region by mid to late evening and possibly impacting the northwest half of central Indiana overnight. Severe storms are not expected through daybreak Tuesday, but lightning, heavy rainfall and gusty winds are threats with any storm. Hot and humid conditions will continue through early evening, mainly in areas that do not see any storms this afternoon. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday. Chances for thunderstorms continue on Tuesday, and especially across the southeast half of central Indiana during the afternoon and early evening. A few storms will produce damaging winds in addition to heavy rainfall and cloud to ground lightning. A lingering isolated storm is possible over southern and eastern Indiana on Wednesday but most locations will remain dry. Outside of storms, afternoon heat indices peaking between 100 and 105 degrees are possible Tuesday, mainly across western and southern portions of the region. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
