The Flood Warning is cancelled for portions of central and west
central Indiana, including the following areas, in central Indiana,
Johnson. In west central Indiana, Parke and Vigo.
Flooding is no longer expected to pose a threat. Please continue to
heed remaining road closures.
A Flood Watch remains in effect until 1200 AM EDT Saturday for
portions of central, east central, north central, south central,

...FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 830 PM EDT THIS EVENING...
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.
* WHERE...Southern Morgan County in central Indiana...
Brown County in south central Indiana...
Northern Monroe County in south central Indiana...
Northeastern Clay County in west central Indiana...
Northeastern Owen County in west central Indiana...
Southern Putnam County in west central Indiana...
* WHEN...Until 830 PM EDT.
* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Low-water
crossings are inundated with water and may not be passable. Expect
many areas of slow moving or standing water.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 752 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated slow moving
thunderstorms with very heavy rainfall across the warned
area. Between 0.5 and 2 inches of rain have fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1.5 inches are possible
in the warned area.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Martinsville, Greencastle, Nashville, Cloverdale, Morgantown,
Gosport, Paragon, Harmony, Stinesville, Quincy, Eminence,
Devore, Little Point, Belle Union, Mahalasville, Unionville,
Lake Lemon, Cagles Mill Lake, Helmsburg and Yellowwood Lake.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Stay away or be swept away. River banks and culverts can become
unstable and unsafe.
