...A Period of Snow Tonight...

A weather system will move across central IL tonight. Periods of
moderate snow with visibility as low as one-half mile are possible.
Accumulations of 1 to 2 inches will occur where the heavier snow band
lays out. Though the ground is above freezing, isolated slick spots
on untreated and elevated surfaces could lead to minor impacts
overnight. Drivers should remain aware and reduce their speed if
slick spots are encountered.
