...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHERN LOGAN AND NORTHEASTERN
SANGAMON COUNTIES THROUGH 615 PM CDT...

At 600 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Buffalo, or 15 miles northeast of Springfield, moving southeast at 20
mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Dawson, Mechanicsburg, Illiopolis, and Buffalo.

This includes Interstate 72 between mile markers 111 and 121.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
