Rating: EF1 Estimated Peak Wind: 105 mph Path Length /statute/: 2.55 miles Path Width /maximum/: 125 yards Fatalities: 0 Injuries: 0 Start Date: 04/02/2025 Start Time: 06:08 PM CDT Start Location: 3 SE Altamont / Effingham County / IL Start Lat/Lon: 39.0196 / -88.713 End Date: 04/02/2025 End Time: 06:11 PM CDT End Location: 4 E Altamont / Effingham County / IL End Lat/Lon: 39.0421 / -88.6754 Survey Summary: Much of the structural damage was concentrated near the start of the track, along N. 500th St. about a half mile north of E. 700th Ave. A home in this location lost a portion of its roof.
