Two additional tornadoes were confirmed from Sunday evening`s severe storms. This brings the event total for NWS Central IL up to three tornadoes. .Victoria-Galva Tornado... Rating: EF1 Estimated Peak Wind: 100 mph Path Length /statute/: 16.48 miles Path Width /maximum/: 150 yards Fatalities: 0 Injuries: 0 Start Date: 04/20/2025 Start Time: 08:39 PM CDT Start Location: 1 WSW Victoria / Knox County / IL Start Lat/Lon: 41.0295 / -90.121 End Date: 04/20/2025 End Time: 08:57 PM CDT End Location: 3 W Kewanee / Henry County / IL End Lat/Lon: 41.2423 / -89.9832 Survey Summary: The tornado touched down about a mile west of Victoria where it snapped 4 power poles along highway 167. The tornado proceeded to the northeast where it snapped and damaged numerous trees along with damaging a few outbuildings. It went through Galva where it snapped several trees, then it progressed northeast damaging more trees and an outbuilding before dissipating about 3 miles west of Kewanee. .Altona-Bishop Hill Tornado... Rating: EF1 Estimated Peak Wind: 95 mph Path Length /statute/: 4.41 miles Path Width /maximum/: 120 yards Fatalities: 0 Injuries: 0 Start Date: 04/20/2025 Start Time: 08:41 PM CDT Start Location: 1 NNE Altona / Knox County / IL Start Lat/Lon: 41.1325 / -90.1507 End Date: 04/20/2025 End Time: 08:48 PM CDT End Location: 1 WSW Bishop Hill / Henry County / IL End Lat/Lon: 41.1946 / -90.1368 Survey Summary: The tornado touched down about 1.5 miles northeast of Altona where it destroyed a hog farm building and tossed it into a nearby outbuilding. It proceeded north into Henry County where it destroyed two large grain bins and tossed the debris for nearly a mile to the northeast.
