This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for central Illinois and west
central Illinois.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

A brief period of elevated fire danger is anticipated between 3pm and
9pm today. An additional risk for blowing dust will also exist
during this time as breezy south winds develop.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

Dry and gusty conditions will support rapid fire spread again on
Friday.

The risk for severe weather returns on Tuesday as a frontal system
lifts across the region.

Spotter activation is not anticipated through tonight.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for central Illinois, east
central Illinois, southeast Illinois and west central Illinois.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

A risk for significant severe weather exists this evening in
locations near and east of the Illinois River. All severe weather
hazards including large hail exceeding 2 inches in diameter,
thunderstorm wind gusts exceeding 60 mph, and a strong tornado will
be possible.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

An additional risk for significant severe weather exists Friday
afternoon across portions of central and southeast Illinois. All
severe weather hazards including large hail exceeding 2 inches in
diameter, thunderstorm wind gusts exceeding 60 mph, and a strong
tornado will be possible.

The risk for severe weather then returns on Tuesday as a frontal
system lifts across the region.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation will likely be needed today between 4pm and 9pm.

Expected storm motion is toward the NE around 60 mph.
