Today will be the most favorable of the next few days for any
burn activities, with east to southeast winds below 10 mph.
Friday and Saturday will see an significant increase in wind
speeds, with frequent gusts of 40 to 50 mph beginning by
midday Friday. A few afternoon and evening storms can`t be
ruled out today near and south of I-70, and Friday during the
day will also remain dry. However, a line of severe thunderstorms
will quickly move across the region Friday evening, producing
a half to 3/4 inch of rain.
