.DISCUSSION...
Mostly dry weather will prevail along and east of I-57 through
early this afternoon: however, southerly winds will increase and
gust as high as 45-55mph. Showers and thunderstorms will be
ongoing across the remainder of central Illinois this morning,
then will spread eastward across I-57 this afternoon. After a
period of dry weather tonight, showers will return on
Thursday...becoming most numerous along and south of the I-72
corridor during the afternoon.
