.DISCUSSION...
Dry conditions prevail through Thursday. East-northeasterly winds
persist today, sustained around 10 mph with gusts generally less
than 20 mph. Afternoon relative humidity values are forecast to
fall to 25-35%, lowest north of I-72. Deep mixing will result in
very good ventilation today. Weaker winds on Wednesday will reduce
ventilation somewhat. By Thursday, southwest winds develop,
leading to heat and humidity trending higher into the weekend.
There are daily storm chances (30-60%) Friday into early next
week.
