Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Central/Southeast Illinois
National Weather Service Lincoln IL
226 PM CDT Sat Apr 19 2025

.DISCUSSION...

Poor ventilation driven by shallow mixing heights and periods of
showers will make for poor burning conditions through Sunday.
Ventilation will improve dramatically Sunday night into Monday
behind a cold front, though fuels may take some time to dry out.
The next chance for showers and storms will arrive late Tuesday,
mainly north of a roughly Macomb to Gibson City line.
