Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Central/Southeast Illinois
National Weather Service Lincoln IL
302 PM CST Sat Nov 9 2024

.DISCUSSION...

Showers and a few thunderstorms are expected tonight, tapering
off from west to east by morning. Rainfall amounts should total
a quarter to half inch in most areas, with locally higher amounts
possible. Dry conditions will continue from late Sunday morning
through early next work week. Winds will be southeast tonight
around 10 mph, shifting to southwest Sunday and gusting 20-25 mph.
Transport winds will strengthen enough Sunday to provide Good
ventilation rates, but Monday should see a decrease in ventilation
again as both mixing heights and transport winds decrease.
