.DISCUSSION...
There is around a 15-30% chance for a few showers west of roughly
the I-55 corridor this morning into early afternoon, and then around
a 20% chance for patchy drizzle this evening with a cold front.
Transport winds ahead of the front will blow 12-17 kt from the
southwest, and then veer sharply to a northerly direction and ease
behind it tonight. Those winds will veer further to an easterly
direction tomorrow but generally remain less than 10 kt as surface
high pressure builds in. The combination of weak transport winds and
modest mixing will maintain poor ventilation through at least
Sunday.
