.DISCUSSION...
A cold front will progress across the area this afternoon,
resulting in a wind shift from southwesterly to northwesterly.
Winds will gust to around 20 mph behind the front. Some light snow
or patchy freezing drizzle is possible near the front.
A bitter cold airmass will arrive behind the front, and persist
through Thursday night. Winds on Thursday will be northerly during
the morning, then become light and variable during the afternoon
as surface high pressure moves in. By Friday, winds become
southwesterly and temperatures start to moderate but remain below
normal. Mixing heights remain low through this weekend, resulting
in poor ventilation.
