.DISCUSSION...
The combination of modest mixing and light winds will foster poor
ventilation today. Vent rates improve somewhat, mainly west of I-55,
tomorrow evening as northwesterly transport winds increase behind
a cold front, but the best ventilation will be Sunday when we
have deep afternoon mixing. At this time, the only notable chance
for measurable precipitation over the next week will be Saturday
when isolated showers and storms (15-20% coverage) may develop
ahead of the front.
