Hydrologic Outlook
National Weather Service Lincoln IL
1131 AM CDT Thu Jul 30 2026

This hydrologic outlook includes the following river in Illinois:

Little Wabash River...

The Little Wabash River below Clay City is currently forecast to
approach, but not exceed flood stage. However, the forecast does not
yet include all the expected rainfall through the first half of the
weekend. The exact amount, intensity, timing, and location of the
rain that will occur is still uncertain. Once there is more
certainty about the expected rainfall and its impact on the river
forecast, a flood warning may need to be issued. Keep up to date on
the latest forecast information in case a flooding threat
materializes.
