...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT PORTIONS OF OHIO...SOUTHWESTERN
RIPLEY...SWITZERLAND...CARROLL...SOUTHWESTERN GRANT...OWEN AND
GALLATIN COUNTIES THROUGH 645 PM EDT...
At 604 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located near Bedford, moving
east at 40 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 45 mph and very heavy rain.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Visibility will be poor and hydroplaning
is possible.
Locations impacted include...
Carrollton, Vevay, Warsaw, Owenton, Florence, Kentucky Speedway,
Pleasant, Glencoe, Fairview, Ghent, Sanders, Sparta, Worthville,
Prestonville, Monterey, Gratz, Elk Lake, Aberdeen, Rexville, and
Wheatley.
This includes I-71 in Kentucky between mile markers 39 and 63.
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a sturdy building.
